Stansted Airport

Stansted airport serves over 20 million passengers per year using 20 airlines heading to over 124 destinations worldwide. It is the UK's fourth busiest airport and the fastest growing in Europe.

Departures and arrivals are open 24 hours a day and situated on one level of the terminal building. Cash dispensers are available throughout the airport. Internet access facilities are available in multiple locations including the freedom of wireless broadband internet access in the departure lounge.

Child friendly facilities include a play area located in the departure lounge, special meals and high chairs in the food outlets and Purpose built baby changing facilities, found in the arrivals near the information desk.

The information desk is open daily and can help you with flight information, bus and rail enquiries. A wide range of facilities are on offer including Photocopying, Faxing, and Shower access.

A huge range of world famous designer brands and high street stores are available, with restaurants and bars for relaxing or a bite to eat. With tax free prices, the latest fashions can be on anybody's list.

Directions:

Car:
Just 40 miles north of central London Stansted airport is sited next to junction 8a of the M11 with allocated slip-roads to the airport. With the M25 less than half an hour drive away, there's easy access to the Capital and surrounding areas.

Bus or Coach:
A dedicated bus and coach station is located at the front of the terminal building. The airbus to Victoria operates 24 hours a day and departs every 20 minutes. A variety of national coaches and buses service the UK and surrounding local areas.

Rail:
Below the terminal building the airport has a purpose built rail station, providing a fast and convenient way to and from the Airport via the Stansted Express. Trains depart every 15 or 30 minutes with an approximate journey time of 45 minutes.
