Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport is Scotland's fastest growing airport. It has recently opened a new multi-storey car park and is extending and improving passenger areas in the departure lounge.
A state-of-the art information desk in UK arrivals has recently been installed, along with business area, more smoking areas and additional catering and shopping outlets in the departure lounge.
Edinburgh Airport has 7.8 million passengers per year and 40 Airlines servicing over 80 destinations.

Edinburgh airport is in an excellent geographical position in Central Scotland. It is within easy access of Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and Central West Scotland.

Bars and restaurants available before the security search include coffee shops, burger bars, grill house, and other bars for beers, spirits meals or just a coffee. Edinburgh Airport has designated smoking areas and International Currency Exchange with at least 23 currencies available.
Shops and duty free are available in the airport providing newspapers, Tobacco, pharmaceutical goods, cosmetics, food and clothes. Duty free is available after security for all International flights.

For information, there is a tourist information desk located in the international arrivals area. The Edinburgh and Lothian Tourist Board is available for range of information on services, accommodation and places of interest.

Directions:

Car:
Head on the A8 from Edinburgh City bypass and continue toward Ingliston. Prior to reaching the Royal Highland Showground, take the left hand slip road to link with the Edinburgh Airport approach road.

Train:
Direct rail services are available to the West and North of Scotland from Waverley station, Edinburgh's main railway station in the city centre. It can be reached by bus service or taxi service from the airport.

Bus:
Frequent bus services run from the airport terminal to Haymarket Station and the city centre at Waverley station.
